Your lab results probably fall into a wide range that might be determined as “normal” based on decades-old science, and don’t paint the whole picture based on an individual’s personal situation.

Obviously, our bodies vary drastically from person to person. So, your symptoms and “optimal” hormone levels can be vastly different than someone with identical lab results.

Your results might be “normal” based on traditional standards. However, your fatigue, weight gain, lack of sex drive/erectile dysfunction, and mental health may say that you’re a prime candidate for hormone optimization treatment.

At Kaya, you always get a provider consultation with every package. We won’t just reject you or prescribe you treatment based on a lab result printout.

Ultimately, how you feel is as or more important than what your blood work tells you.

We do not bill health insurance companies directly for any of our services.  Unfortunately, most health insurance providers don’t cover our services, as they are considered “elective”.

However, many Kaya Wellness clients have used FSA or HSA accounts for their payment.  We can also provide invoices and lab orders as needed, which may help you receive reimbursement from you insurance provider. Please be aware that because we do not bill insurance directly, we are unable provide procedure codes (CPT) or diagnostic codes (ICD-10).

However, we can offer what is called a “superbill”, which may help you get reimbursed by your insurance company for some of our services. Please note, reimbursement is not guaranteed and varies greatly between carriers and plans. Contact your insurance carrier directly to determine any potential reimbursement, if applicable.
